Mary Catherine Whitley, DPT
"MC" became a Pilates instructor after discovering its benefits as a client. She found it a very effective way to correct movement and neurological imbalances within her body. She felt it could be the missing link in the rehabilitation of her physical therapy patients. She has been a practicing physical therapist for over 15 years and a Pilates instructor for six years. Trained through the Polestar method, Mary Catherine uses Pilates Principles to design custom movement programs to resolve pain, improve performance and athleticism, and help her patients and clients live their best lives.
Patrick Herring
Pat received his training from Polestar Pilates and was mentored by Mary Catherine Whitley. He got into Pilates due to chronic back injuries while serving in the Army. He was also diagnosed with acute disk pathologies, mild Stenosis, and Spondylolisthesis. While receiving physical therapy from "MC", she used Pilates to resolve his pain and disability. As a result, Pat decided to become a Pilates instructor to improve the lives of others. He feels this was absolutely the best decision and is loving it.
